Sharmen Rajendran is Affinda’s Sales Director for Resume Parser, where he helps job boards, ATS providers and HR SaaS companies use AI to improve how they parse resumes and match candidates to roles. With a PhD in Chemical Engineering and experience across several industries, he brings a strong technical and commercial lens to Affinda. Sharmen works closely with product and customer success teams to keep the solution market-leading and ensure customer needs are met quickly. Based in Melbourne, he supports customers across global time zones and has played a key role in the product’s growth since its launch in 2021.

Affinda has spent considerable time fine-tuning the matching algorithm to ensure that the best candidates are shortlisted for jobs while also curating a list of suitable jobs for a given candidate.
Ensuring the customers feel supported from day one is my passion, and I work with cross-functional teams to deliver the required outcomes and enhancements that our customers request.
