Parse resumes to Excel. Free.
Drop a stack of resumes and get clean, structured candidate data back — searchable, exportable, no signup.
Bulk parse resumes in one drop
Select up to 100 resumes — PDF, DOC, DOCX or images — and drop them in together. They parse in parallel, and each candidate appears in the list the moment their resume finishes, so a big batch becomes a reviewable shortlist while you watch.
- 100 files per dropDrop a whole inbox of applications at once, then parse more when the batch is done.
- Any common formatPDF, DOC, DOCX, PNG and JPG — scans and phone photos included.
- Live resultsCandidates stream into the list as they finish, with clear per-file status.
Search across every candidate
Once parsed, your batch becomes one searchable candidate list. Type a name, a skill or an employer to jump straight to the right people, or set criteria — required skills, years of experience, education — and rank the whole batch against them.
- Instant searchOne search box across every parsed resume in the batch.
- Filter and rankSet the criteria that matter and see how every candidate scores against them.
- Full detail on clickOpen any candidate to see their complete parsed profile, field by field.
From CV to spreadsheet in seconds
One click exports a CSV that opens straight in Excel or Google Sheets — one row per candidate, with columns for name, job title, email, phone, location, years of experience and more. Export the whole batch, or only the candidates matching your criteria. Prefer raw data? Download JSON in the exact shape the Affinda API returns.

No signup. Nothing stored. Your documents are parsed in memory and never stored — nothing is persisted on our servers after parsing. Results stay in your browser until you export them.
Need this in your own product?
The same parsing engine behind this free tool powers the Affinda Resume Parser — send a resume, get the structured JSON back, at any volume. Two ways to run it:
Run it in your own network
The parser runs as a container inside your own infrastructure, so resumes never leave your network. Same API and JSON as the hosted service — start it in one command:
docker run --rm -p 8080:8080 affinda/resume-parserFrequently asked questions
Is the free resume parser really free?
Yes. There is no signup, no credit card and no trial clock — open the tool, drop your resumes and download the results. Anonymous use has a daily fair-use cap (currently 150 resumes a day). Creating a free account lifts that to 1,000 parses and gives you an API key.
How many resumes can I parse at once?
Up to 100 resumes in a single drop. They parse in parallel and results stream into the list as each one finishes, so you can start reviewing the first candidates while the rest are still processing.
What file formats does it accept?
PDF, DOC, DOCX and image files (PNG and JPG). Scanned resumes and photos are read with OCR, so a phone photo of a printed CV works too.
Does it export to Excel?
It exports a CSV file that opens straight in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers — one row per candidate with name, contact details, location, years of experience, education, skills and the full work history. If you want the raw structured data instead, you can download JSON in the same shape the Affinda API returns.
Is my data stored?
No. Documents are parsed in memory and never stored — nothing is persisted on our servers after parsing. Your results live only in your browser tab until you export them.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed to use the free tool. Sign up only if you want the hosted API for your own product, or a higher daily parsing limit.
